Position Summary

Responsible for supervising the daily operations of a fun, energetic and hard working team at a Garland Aquatic Facility.  Pool Manager 2 must successfully supervise and train aquatic staff members in operations, safety, guest service, and work quality.  

 

Starting rate - $13.00

Essential Job Functions

  1. Maintain outstanding guest service at a Garland Aquatic Facility.
  2. Supervise staff, which includes hiring, training and evaluating Pool Manager 1 and aquatic staff to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.
  3. Perform duties of Pool Manager I, Lead Lifeguard, Lifeguard and Guest Service staff as needed.
  4. Perform daily operations and maintenance of facility to ensure high productivity and efficient operations.
  5. Enforce rules and policies to ensure safe conditions and operation of facility.
  6. Monitor and maintains water chemistry.
  7. Compile and submits operations, training and incident reports.
  8. Respond and reacts to emergency situations following Jeff Ellis and Associates guidelines and complete proper documentation.
  9. Maintain adequate inventory by ordering all necessary supplies and equipment to ensure availability for uninterrupted operation of aquatic facility.
  10. Regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
  11. Maintain open lines of communication with necessary parties to ensure quality daily operations.
  12. Provide outstanding guest service to provide life long memories for guests.
  13. Maintain positive relationships with guests to address issues and concerns.
  14. Maintain an inviting and healthy work environment for all staff by inspiring others with enthusiasm and positive energy.

 

 

Minimum Education & Work Experience

High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Ellis and Associates Pool and Water park Lifeguard training, including First Aid and CPR licenses/ certification
2 years experience in aquatic facility operations
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Preferred Knowledge - Abilities & Skills

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:           

  • Knowledge of programs and activities at the aquatics facility
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures
  • Jeff Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Instructor License

 

 

Licenses & Certifications

Jeff Ellis and Associates Pool and Water park Lifeguard training, including First Aid and CPR license/ certification required
Valid Class C Texas driver's license preferred

Physical Tasks & Working Conditions

The incumbent typically works in an outdoor environment with exposure to all weather conditions under direct sunlight and may be required to walk, bend, stoop, and climb five to six foot ladder.
