Responsible for providing outstanding guest service by maintaining a positive attitude, being friendly, energetic and outgoing. Guest Services team members greet guests, maintain park cleanliness, sell admission tickets, food or specialty concessions and provide information to guests regarding the operations of the City’s aquatic facilities.

 

Starts at $12.00/hr

1. Sell admission tickets and food/specialty concessions to patrons.
2. Handle money and make change as needed.
3. Prepare food orders, help set up and store food items as needed.
4. Operate a cash register when applicable.
5. Answer telephones and provide information.
6. Clean and sanitize equipment within the work station.
7. Complete daily reconciliation reports.
8. Sweep, clean and pick up as needed.
9. Provide outstanding guest service.

 Must be sixteen years of age.
 No experience required.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:           

• Knowledge of daily and emergency facility procedures and policies learned during training
• Knowledge of the daily operation and programs of aquatic facilities learned during training 
• Experience involving customer service, handling cash, inventory control and operating a cash register

 No Licenses/ Certifications required

The incumbent works in a ticket booth/front gate environment with exposure to all weather conditions including sunlight and heat. May be subject to walk, bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time.
